Position Summary
The Construction Field Assistant will provide essential on-site support to the construction team at Impact Plaster & Masonry, LLC and Impact Masonry, Inc. Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform general labor tasks, including material handling, site cleaning, and equipment maintenance.
- Support skilled workers, such as masons and plasterers, by providing assistance and following instructions.
- Maintaining inventory of tools, equipment and materials reporting shortages or damages as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation and installation of construction materials, such as scaffolding, concrete forms, and reinforcement.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision, adhering to safety guidelines and best practices.
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily activity logs and progress reports.
- Follow established safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on the construction site.
- Continuously seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in construction practices and techniques.
